The2 parts of the handle just removed. Move the handle towards the hole where blank was then just give gentle pull to remove (Hinge action) The handle will just pull out when it's 90 degrees to the door. Disconnect wiring to sensor (Watch wiring dosn't go back inside door) Full handle and parts. New Sensor at the top which has changed

Ifyou don't fix the load level sensor and place a heavy load in the cargo area the headlight beam position won't change/compensate for the load and shoot the beam much higher vertically. There seems to be quite a few Q5/SQ5s with damaged headlight level sensor to lower control arm posted on these forums. Won't why this happens.
Putthe front of the car about 6 ft away from the wall. Adjust your headlights and then put the VAG-COM to basic settings 02 and it will say central position learned. Obviously if you have a problems with one of your sensors or an adjustment motor than this wont work or your headlights will still be screwed up.
1 Water ingress into an ECU module just in front of windscreen. This causes corrosion and poor / intermittent connections so throwing the faults. See here - HELP!! vwtechsaid: You need to read the oil level/Temp data in measuring blocks and post the info. This will tell you if sensor is working. Hood switch open and closed has to work. Won't reset if bad sensor or hood doesn't show open. Also service reminder reset has cleared the code for me. Year would be nice. Doesanybody have a picture of where the headlight leveling sensor is on the front and rear suspension? Left or right side? My headlights are aimed very low.
Withyour VAG cable, go into the Xenon headlights (55), and choose the measure block 2. You can see the current values being: My range was 68.7 up front, and 62.8 in the rear. My rear was fine so my problem was the front. When you get underneath the car and take off the wheel, you can see this:
Removethe left headlight assembly, then the screw at the top of the black rubber molding. Shove the molding toward the centerline of the car (away from the headlight opening) and then you should have good access to the G65 sensor. Use two wrenches to remove the sensor, one on the sensor itself, and the other on the mounting Ifthe adaptive headlights fail to adjust at all, there is a possibility that the one of the wires going to the adaptive headlight motor could have been pinched or torn. The only way to know for sure is to open up the headlight and check. First you'll need to unscrew and remove the headlight from the car. W91bXE.
