Learnhow to long code etc. I've had the Passat for 3 years, every time I've had to add AdBlue it's reset correctly, until now. I refilled the tank with 1.5 litres of AdBlue as halfway between the 1 litre & 2 litres it specified. But as others have experienced it did not reset this time. I got the usual 1500 miles till no start.

2014vw passat tdi adblue topped up and driven 1000 km with no faults. Next day adblue fault no start after 350 km. While driving just accelerated a bit and fault went away.

Removethe two torx screws. Next remove the torx screws from under the back of the bumper. Then pry the cover off starting from each wheel well. It takes a little elbow grease, but all that's left holding the cover on are plastic clips. Here's the Adblue tank with the cover off. There are 3 bolts holding the tank on.

thecheck engine light came on 9/10/15. i brought the car into the dealership on 9/12/15 and learned that the car’s adblue heater had gone and will cost just over $1,000 to replace. the adblue heater heats the adblue to remove no2 for emissions, however volkswagen is claiming that this is not covered under the emissions warranty.

Anybodykeeping track of there Adblue Diesel exhaust fluid usage on the new 2015 Jetta TDI? I have about 4900 miles on my car and see I have only used about 8% of the AdBlue tank so far (#674 below).
