In practice, I can be on my 13 regular for 5-6 hours (playing games, taking pics, browsing reddit, watching videos) and still end the day at around 20% most of the time. If I'm running out of battery, I'm honestly on the phone way too much anyway. And the 13 Pro is a bit better in terms of battery life than that.
I have a Xs Max, bought at day one, and for the first year the battery never went below 40%. I was constantly charging it. Now I kinda care less, but with heavy usage (7/8hrs, sometimes even more) after 2 years my battery capacity is still at 90%.
Scroll up and it will tell you at the very beginning which OS you’re looking at. This works with iPads the exact same way. Brand new phone battery vs phones that have been out for almost a year with old/used batteries batteries. The iPhone 15 Pro Max has slightly worse battery than the iPhone 14 Pro Max when you compare two brand new phones.
With your older iPhone 8 Plus, you said it had better battery life. Now you must keep a few things in mind such as older versions of iOS not having the same features as iOS 14.x.x. Plus, you should’ve went with the iPhone 12 Pro Max if battery life was your main concern. I have one, & battery life on this thing is insane to say the least.
iPhone 15 Pro: 3274 mAh (14 Pro: 3200 mAh) iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4422 mAh (14 Pro Max: 4323 mAh) Much smaller increase than what was rumoured back in July , which explains why the rated battery life on Apple’s website is the same as the previous gen for all models

10 hours ago · I come from big phones, like s21 ultra and S23 plus because I watch a lot of YouTube and TV shows on my phone so the bigger screen is nice but you sacrifice one handed use. Whilst the smaller 6'1 inch phone can give you a comfortable compact feel and ease of use but you lose out on a bigger screen therefore content is much less appealing to
For me, the 11 pro max was more than fast enough, but the one big gripe I had about it was that using the camera would unpredictably kick other apps out of memory. With the extra RAM on the 13 pro max, that doesn't happen any more. I like the 120 Hz screen, and battery life is even better, and so.are the cameras, but that should all be expected.
My iPhone X can last all day throughout university and into the night. So from about 7AM I unplug, and plug back in at around 8 usually. I leave all my apps open - THIS DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR BATTERY PERFORMANCE. In fact closing apps drains more battery if you need to reopen them, unless those apps work in the background.
